Application Form:

CSC scholarship form must be filled in Chinese or English Language.

Recommendation Letter:

At least two letters of recommendation from professors from your former school must be uploaded to the CSC portal in order to apply. Send a color copy of the letter instead of the letter itself.

Highest Degree/Transcript/Diploma:
Make sure that your diploma, degrees, and papers are attested by a notary public or a lawyer before you start the application process. Also, students can use the CSC portal to apply for grants from December to March, which is when universities require applications to be turned in.

Note if your Degree is not Available :

  • If the degree is not available, a temporary certificate can be used instead.
  • Hope certificate can be used as proof if degree is still up for grabs.
  • If you don’t have a transcript, you can use a semester result card to finish your application. Just make sure you get your transcript before September so you can show it at the office when you go to get your visa.
  • Forms that need to be notarized but are not in Chinese or English should be translated into one of those languages and added.

IELTS and English proficiency certificate:

Students can apply even if they don’t have IELTS or HSK qualifications, but having them will help. Students must show an English proficiency certificate from their last university that says they were able to finish their studies in English.

Medical Examination Certificate:
