A Technical Producer (with QA), also known as an Email Developer, comes up with ideas, suggests solutions, codes, documents, and checks the quality of email campaigns that use automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other features of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to get more people to read and respond to emails. Work Responsibilities

  • Problem-Solving for Business Solutions: Make and use complicated, dynamic email solutions to help clients deal with business problems. As part of these solutions, a lot of emails or material from different business units (BUs) may need to be coordinated or automated.
  • Client Discovery and Consultation: Lead discovery meetings with clients to find out what they need for their business. Give the person advice on how to use email in a way that fits their needs.
  • Project Ownership: You are in charge of all aspects of implementing emails for projects and are the main point of contact for both the client and the internal team (Lev team).
  • Risk Management and Progress Reporting: Keep an eye on possible risks and let partners know about project progress and the amount of work that needs to be done.
  • Technical Leadership and Mentorship: As a technical leader on the Campaign Services team, help other team members grow professionally by teaching and coaching them.
  • Development of Responsive Web Elements: Use HTML, Bootstrap, AMPscript, and CSS to design and build mobile-responsive Preference Centers and home pages.
  • Making Emails and Templates: Make emails and email templates that meet client needs and try them. Make sure these follow Lev’s quality standards and best practices for emails.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) and Feedback: Use the Email QA checklist to look over emails, templates, deploys, and landing pages. To keep standards high, give feedback to other Technical Producers and clients.
  • Error Assessment and Risk Management: Look for mistakes in email builds and know all the risks that come with them. Look at the effects and results of these mistakes and suggest what should be done.
  • Process Improvement Advocacy: Show that you have a good grasp of how the campaign works. Find ways to make things better that will save time and money and push for those changes.
  • Documentation Development: Make and keep up-to-date detailed QA documentation that includes work instructions that are unique to each customer. As needed, make changes to current documentation.
  • Collaboration and Queue Management: Use a queue system to handle tasks with the help of other team members.
  • On-Call help: Sometimes, for important client campaigns, provide on-call help on the weekends or after hours.
  • Additional Duties: Ensure the general success of the client’s email campaigns by doing other tasks as needed and given.
